About
Our Organization
Impact Youth Services (ISY) was founded to provide services for up to 6 adolescents (males & females) with mild-to-moderate autism, between the ages of 13–17. IYS will accept referrals from Foster Care Placements, Residential Group Homes, Community-Based Group Homes, the Department of Juvenile Justice, Court Services, the Department of Social Services, and other Mental Health Facilities. We will also accept, discharged youth from Psychiatric Hospitals who are in need of chronic services, as well as emergency placements.Our Philosophy
It is the philosophy of Impact Youth Services, LLC (IYS) that by placing the child as the focal point of our services, we can build stronger families, thereby building stronger communities. As such, we strive to help families by teaching their youth basic independent living skills. These skills will include educational and social development, as well as self- care.
offered Services
Impact Youth Services, LLC Group Home will offer twenty-four hour residential support and services in a community-based environment.
Assessment
Impact Youth Services, will use the Inventory of Client and Agency Placement to determine the needs of residents accepted for initial group home placement.Parent Training
IYS counselors will provide the necessary training in behavior management to parents who are in need of guidance, which will enable them to set consistent guidelines for their children to follow.Mentoring
Mentoring will be provided to all residents.Therapeutic Services
An in house clinician will be available to provide individual and group therapy to all residents as appropriate.Therapeutic Recreation
IYS counselors will use therapeutic recreation activities, including arts and crafts; sensory activities, dance and movement, music, swimming, picnics, community outings, animals, sports, games and drama to assist in the maintenance of the physical, the mental, and the emotional well-being of our residents.

Impact Youth Services (IYS) will accept youth with a primary Intellectual Disability {MR (IQ 50-70)} diagnosis +/- a secondary Mental Illness to include but not limited to:
Autism Disorders
Behavior/Conduct Disorders
Major Depression
Delinquent
Emotional Disturbance
Family Related Needs
Incarcerated Parents
Learning Disabled
Physical/ Emotional Abuse/ Neglect
Sensory Impairments
Sexually Abused
Speech/Language Impairments
Requirements for Admissions
Should you decide to make a formal application for services; an admissions staff member will
help you through the process. In order to assist the admissions team in making a decision of appropriateness of fit, we would like to have the following information:
School history, including a current IEP – Individual Education Plan
Medical history, current medications, physical & immunization records
Treatment history (if appropriate)
Recent psychological evaluation
Discharge summaries from previous placements
Psychiatric report (if applicable)
Social history including both family and developmental history
Individual family service plan (if applicable)
Educational, speech, occupational and physical therapy evaluations (if appropriate)
Dental, Medical, Mental Health exam dates and or upcoming appointments
Insurance information
Most current ISAR (if applicable)
Negative TB Test results within 30 days prior to admissions
